Client DDNS--A Necessity???

....as a follow-up... the AD DC's all talk with DDNS.
Their SRV Service records are in the dns zone that the
clients are pointed to. I'm just talking about turning
DDNS OFF on the clients.

Sure, you can turn it off, if there is no apparent need for them. Some
larger establishments turn it off, such as universities and other schools.
Unless a specific app needs that functionality, then no, turn it off.
