Clicking through from a link in an email

When i click a link in an email I get a wavy red line across the top and
either nothing happens of IE opens and then freezes and needs to be shut
down. Any idea how to resolve it - driving me mad!!! Thanks. E

Are only links affected? If so, reset the internet settings in IE's tools,
options. You could also try repairing outlook.
