My computer makes the clicking sound even when I don't click on anything. It's gets pretty annoying after a while, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything that I know of. Is something opening things that I'm not aware of? I can have no windows or programs running and it still clicks randomly. I know how to change all the sound settings, but I don't mind the click if it's working properly. I don't really want to turn it off. Any help? Thanks.

Please provide more information besides just "my computer makes the
clicking sound". What clicking sound? Did it *always* make "the
clicking sound"? If not, what changed between the time it didn't click
and the time the noise started? Install any new software? Change the
way you access the Internet?

My guess is you have a web site, which regularly refreshes itself, open in
your browser. Every time this happens the "Start Navigation" sound is
triggered.
