clicking on a directory yields 'search' - not 'open'

when I click on a directory to open it in Explorer it doesn't open - I get a
search window instead! I've noticed that when I right click on the directory
the menu that appears has 'search' in bold at the top instead of 'open' I
haven't found anyway to change in back to defaulting to 'open'.

Any ideas out there?!?!?!?!

You can fix this problem in the following way. Click on Start>Run and type in the following and hit
enter

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

--
