I'm guessing that with "click on a record" you mean "click on a record
in a table that I have opened". If so, the answer is that this is not
possible. And also not desireable because users can do too much harm
with the raw tables. Forms and reports are there to shield them from
this, add business logic, security, etc. So get in the mode of not
allowing ANY access to the tables and queries, but only to the forms
and reports.
