I'm having the same problem!!!

I've been all ove the internet looking for a solution and have only found work arounds. I have been able to fix the problem temporarily by renaming the folder where the app ends up installed at "C:\Documents and Settings\-username-\Local Settings\Apps\2.0". This trashes all ClickOnce applications and they have to be reloaded. After doing this, I can install the application and update it 2-3 times before I get this error again. I can't find what's causing the problem though. It's only happenning on my Windows 2003 Server, but seems to work fine on XP. From what I've found in forums, it seems the "transaction store" (whatever that is) is being corrupted somehow. Why does it work some times, but not others? What the #@!!? If anyone has any ideas... please share.

Encountered same problem in XP also. Now everytime I want to instal I
need to delete \apps\2.0 subfolders. What a pain. If anyone knows
what's causing this please share it with us.
