click on cell and get instructions, how do you set it up?

In excel, I am looking to insert instructions in a cell.
So, let's say you have columns with headings and you would like to give
instructions on what information to put in that cell.
How can I do that by just CLICKING on the cell? This is not the same as
adding a comment.

(Don't know where the option stands in Excel 2007)

Data>Validation>Input Message.

This message will show up when you select the cell.
