cleenup DNS

I wounder how 2 client can have the same ip-adresses in
the reverse lookup zones? it is in the in-addr.arpa ther
they share the same host ip number...and how I can cleen
up the ptr record?
I have try to take " scavenge stale resourse record" and
allso "Set aging/for all zones"
please help!!

These two clients registered the same IP for the PTR record at some point
in time
Scavenging works by processing the time stamps of the records and comparing
the time stamp against the no-refresh interval and the refresh interval.
Unfortunately, we don't time stamp records until scavenging is enabled.
Existing records have no time stamp.
I would just manually delete any bad records. Any new records that are
created will be time stamped and subject to scavenging
