Clearsearch spyware

I keep getting a message pop up Stating "Plug in failed to
down load successfuly". I purchased a copy of spy subtract
from McAffe and it removed several spy ware installations
I didn't know were on my computer but it can't remove
clear search. I have tried to remove it using the
Add/Remove Programs feature but it comes back each time I
turn on My computer. Can anyone tell me how to remove this
spy program permanently?

You might want to try SpyBot Search and Destroy also. It has an advanced mode that
can also be used to deactivate startup programs and BHO's, but be careful. See the
link below for other tips that may include more advanced tourniquets involving
editing the registry. Be sure to back up your data including your user profile under
documents and settings in case you end up reinstalling at some point. --- Steve
