clearing header/footer list

How can you clean out the header/footer list that includes
pre-defined entries plus any custom entries that get made?

You can't clear out the pre-defined entries that Excel has as default.

The only way I know to clear out the others is to CRTL + A to select all cells
on a sheet then paste to a new sheet in a new workbook.

The customs won't move with the cells.

Don't copy the sheet, otherwise the customs go with.
