I have searched the fourms, but did not see any info. How do I clear drop
down boxes of saved items in outlook 2003?

If you create a new appointment on the calendar, you will see a place to
enter a location for the appointment. This "location" box has a drop down
list. I would like to clear all entries in this drop down box.

I tried to insert a picture in this post, but unable to do so. I used the
web snipping tool for tablet pc, but unable to paste it.

ok, after some web resarch, it has to do with the MRU (most recently used)
lists
in the computer registry. No luck on finding any recent information
applying to outlook 2003 with editing the registry though. Any suggestions
anyone?

Thank you for replying. I did try the link suggested, but it appears the path
is different in outlook 2003.

The path suggested in the link is
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Preferences\LocationMRU

I could navigate to 11.0, but after that I could not find any preferences or
LocationMRU.

Look here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Preferences\LocationMRU

Thanks Brian. That was the correct path. I was able to find and delete
locationMRU. This cleared the drop down box.
