Clear FTP Usernames

Hi Folks,
My problem is that I have created a FTP connection in My Network Places,
when I double-click I get the "Log On As" dialog box come up with a drop-down
list of usernames that I have used.

I want to be able to clear the drop-down list so that no usernames are
displayed because this is a shared computer.

I've tried the Stored Usernames and Passwords dialog box, but there is
nothing in there, and I've tried the Internet Options box in IE, but there
doesn't seem to be anything that relates to or solves the problem I'm having.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your time,

Danny.

Try using CCleaner which I have had luck with removing a lot of MRU [most
recently used] lists. Be sure to configure it before running as it will
remove most everything by default including typed URLs in Internet Explorer
that I like to keep. --- Steve

Thanks Steve,
CCleaner took care of some other problems I've had, unfortunately I couldn't
get it to take care of the FTP Log In As dialog Username field.

Any other ideas out there?

Danny.

You might try searching the registry for a user name that is used, ideally
one that has not logged onto your computer locally [to speed up registry
search], and you might find and be able to edit the MRU list for the FTP
client. --- Steve
