clear contents of column in datasheet

I have a table datasheet of potential exhibitors (names, addresses) that I
want to reuse. I need to remove some of the existing information from the
past year in the other columns (paid, donated items, number of outlets, lunch
requests, etc.) to start fresh. Unlike Excel, I cannot find a way to clear
the contents of my columns. Is there a solution?
