clear an address

I'm not what this feature is even called but when I start typing an address
in the To field in Outlook 2002, it pops up a little menu where I can
quickly choose from a list that matchs the first few characters I've typed.
How do I get rid of the entries in that menu or just one of the entries if
that is possible? Thanks.
 
When the list pops up use your arrow keys to select it and press DELETE
