clear a filter on close

I have a report that filters based on form controls. It works as
desired however when the report is run again and the form controls are
left blank (as desired to return all records) the report returns what
it was previously filtered for.

Is there a way to clear the filter on closing the report? I've
searched around but can't find any examples.

Me.Filter = ""

OR

Reports![NameOfYourReport].FilterOn = False

If this is Access 2007, set the report's Filter On Load property to No.

I'm using 2003 which has the Filter On Load property. I was actually
going to try it but thought it was required to filter the report in
the first place. Anyway, I set it to No and it behaved as expected.
