Cleaning Registry

H

H. A. Wayan

I installed Norton AntiVirus 2004 Professional and then
uninstalled it. I then found that it left several entries
in my Registry. I was able to remove many of them with
regedit. However I was not permitted to remove others.
Is ther someway to clean thes entries from the registry?
What is the file name of the registry, and can it be
edited?

Unless you have some compelling reason to do so it's best to leave the
registry intact. You'll find them in;
%windir%\system32\config
