Clean start on MPEGs

Hi again, anyone any ideas on this one. When I encode a piece of video to
MPEG1 and insert it into a PPT show to play automatically, when you move the
the slide it's on it opens up, but then displays black frames for a fraction
of a second before actually playing. It's not a huge issue, but looks pretty
untidy. Anyone know of any way around this?

One thing worth trying is choosing 'hide while not playing' under custom animation settings for the clip
This, however, means you won't get a freeze frame at the end
The messiness of this issue seems to vary with different hardware.
