Clean install on system partition without deleting other partition

I have a 120GB disk with three partitions:
- c: (system) 17 GB for XP pro; NTFS
- d: (office) 5 GB for office documents; FAT32
- e: (misc) 92 GB for music, games; NTFS

I want to do a clean install on the system partition c: and have used the
boot CD. When I load the Sata RAID controller and the setup programme asks me
where to install it gives me only the option of installing on c: partition,
sized 114GB. I cannot see any other partitions.

I don't want to loose any data on d: and e: partitions. What should I do to
make the setup recognize all the partitions and to safely do a clean install
on the c: partition (without changing the size or properties of the
partitions)?

Thanks

What motherboard do you have, and have you checked for BIOS updates that
address this problem? Check the MB manual to make sure you have the correct
configuration.
I would highly recommend you image your D and E partitions before proceeding
with the clean install.
Post back with you information.
