OK, I understand the desire to drive people to the Ribbon. That being said,
why not allow the native use of the classic menus without forcing a user to
pay for a third party hack.
My reasoning.... One client, completely blind using JAWSs and Word 2003.
Normal hotkeys that have worked for years work on 2003. I had to set him up
a secondary computer but was unable to purchase a copy of Word 2003... ended
up stuck with 2007. Is there any easy way to set the old hotkeys layout to
exactly match? I mean Alt+I, Alt+O etc...
Remember - a screen reader READS what is displayed. If you add new layouts,
that is what is read to the blind user to give him cues and control over the
computer.
