cidaemon.exe

My computer has recently become very slow and sluggish.
In the Windows Task Manager I see that cidaemon.exe is usually at 98% - 99%.
I'm not sure if that's normal or not.
Can you please tell me if it's supposed to be like that and if not what I
need to do to free up some processing power?

Hi,
scan your system with latest virus definitioned antivirus,spybot,search
and destroy/adaware.
cidaemon is "Microsoft Indexing Service";you may disable it and test
what happens.
start>control panel>administrative tools> Services and finding the
Indexing Service[Cisvc] and set it to disabled.
