'CIA OWNS EVERYONE OF ANY SIGNIFICANCE IN MAJOR MEDIA'

How many freeware authors have built "back doors" in
their programs that report directly to the government?

"The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any
significance in the major media."
- William Colby former Director of the CIA.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when
everything the American public believes is false." Almost
everything you read or see in your newspaper or on TV is
false information, mostly CIA disinformation which is
"leaked." You have been conned by professional main
stream press and CIA disinformation artists.
- former CIA director William Colby

"The CIA is not now nor has it ever been a central
intelligence agency. It is the covert action arm of the
President's foreign policy advisers. In that capacity it
overthrows or supports foreign governments while
reporting 'intelligence' justifying those activities. It
shapes its intelligence, even in such critical areas as
Soviet nuclear weapons capability, to support
presidential policy. Disinformation is a large part of
its covert action responsibility, and the American people
are the primary target of its lies."
- Ralph McGehee former CIA intelligence analyst "Deadly
Deceits: My 25 Years in the CIA"

Of course they do. That is what makes them easy to ignore.
No one who wants their privacy only owns one computer.
You use your open source computer like this one.
They are clowns easy to ignore.
Give them what they want to find, and the fools leave you alone.

So, many creators of freeware are actually working
for intelligence agencies? If so, this must be true
of shareware and payware authors as well. Also,
software authors of the most popular programs probably
routinely receive invitations to work for the government.
If one were to make a list of the, say, top-500 popular
programs, what would it be?

Or installs virus software that keeps a log of passwords you type, then
next time you connect to the internet it emails the file to the CIA. Lot
of good encrypting files when the computer that's snooping on you is
your own :blush:/

Yes, I agree. As matters stand now, every author of software is
likely to do his or her patriotic duty in cooperating with
the government in the war against terrorism and child pornography.
Google, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL and others have already done so.

Or more accurately, software authors willingly thinking that undermining
their own democracy is a patriotic act. Anyone here old enough to
remember McCarty and the "patriotic" sellout of father and son. This
time it is more insidious.

Sure, I don't think that there's a newsgroup poster who is
more senior than yours truly -- at least not in the newsgroups
I usually post. About patriotic acts: you've hit the nail
right on the nail head. The concept of patriotism varies from
person to person.

What! A post about a government conspiracy without a single mention of UFOs?
Or Elvis sightings?

What! A post about a government conspiracy without a single mention of UFOs?
Or Elvis sightings?

Elvis was sighted leaving on a UFO and won't be back because there's a
government conspiracy to kill him.
