choppy videos

hi,

no matter what i try, WMP 9 plays my videos very choppy.
i havn't run many videos in the past (w/ pervious
versions of WMP), but i think that i didn't have that
problem before.
in case this helps:
it's a toshiba 1805-s207 notebook, with a trident
cyberAladdin-P4 video card driver version 6.4 (as far as
i know the most up-to-date driver), everything (regarding
software) is up-to-date. 500mb ram + 2gb set aside from
the hdd...

Maybe you captured the video poorly. Just a suggestion.

naw, it's w/ every clip i try to play, be it a class
session (which i know that they work fine on other sys)
or movies etc....
