chkdsk on boot

Hey all, I am having a problem with winxp pro when I restart , boot after
complete shutdown. Windows goes into the same old chkdsk and comes up with
the same old problem files
BMXBkpCtrlState-{00000002-00000000-0000000D-00001102-00000004-00511102}.rfx
BMXCtrlState-{00000002-00000000-0000000D-00001102-00000004-00511102}.rfx
BMXState-{00000002-00000000-0000000D-00001102-00000004-00511102}.rfx
BMXStateBkp-{00000002-00000000-0000000D-00001102-00000004-00511102}.rfx
Settings.smf
This does not happen when I do a restart. Does anyone have any idea why
this keeps happening every time I boot up after I power down the computer.
What are these files anyway?
