Chkdsk log

Can someone lead me to the name and/or location of the log file that lists
the fixes run by chkdsk?

When I run it, it goes through its various gyrations but the display doesn't
stay on the screen long enough to read before it zaps right into the booting
process.

It's in the Event Viewer.
To open Event Viewer, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer.

................And the file you want to look at is called 'Winlogon' or
something similiar.. they didn't mention that...
