Child Field Changing When Selecting New Parent Record

I have a simple form/subform set up. I have a combo box set up to select the
parent form record. All works well, except that when I use the main form
combo box to change main form records, the first (always the first) record on
the subform gets "dragged" along to the next parent form selected. What is
happening is that the child field on this first subform record is getting
changed to the value of the next parent record selected in the combo box.

Interestingly, this only happens when I change records using the combo box.
If I change parent records by paging or using the search command button, the
problem does not occur.

Hi James,

This combo box needs to be unbound. Do you show a field in the Control
Source property for the combo box?
