Child Domain to Parent Domain?

I have a W2K domain with 3 domain controllers and one W2K box as a child
domain. How can I promote that child domain to the parent so that they all
reside on the same domain level?

you can't, you have to kill the domain and recreate it, no bumping
levels...that is called PLANNING.
 
actually, I demoted the child domain (it was just one box), then promoted it
into the parent domain, works fine :)
