checkpoints disappear

My checkpoints disappear after a week. I have the max 12%
allowed in the system. All my checkpoints from previuos
months are gone. I recently installed Service pack 1.

Hi,

First, installing SP1 removes all but the most recent restore point. Second,
how much space do you have allotted to SR in comparison to the size of the
points it creates? 12% of a 10GB drive is only 1.2GB. If your installation
is using 3.5GB, then you aren't going to be getting too many SR points in
that limited space.

Hi,
I have a 60GB drive and the checkpoints are still
disappearing. How can I change the space allocated in SR?
Besides the 12% setting, I don't see anthing else.
Can the SP1 be screwing up my restore points.

Hi,

SR is not very configurable, the 12% figure is what you have to work with.
The more stuff that you have on your system, the fewer restore points it
will be able to create.
