Checkmarks in Forms

I noticed the default in checkboxes in forms is an x. Is it possible to
change this so that a checkmark appears instead?

If you're using checkbox form fields in a protected form, then no, an x is
all you can get.

If it isn't a protected form (or if it is, but only to get the checkboxes to
work), then let Greg Maxey entertain you at
