checking nulls in VB.NET 2003

VB.NET 2003 is driving me nuts!

Before I could just check for null, no matter what the variable type. How
do I check for null in different variable types such as Double, DateTime,
and Integer using VB.NET 2003?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you ask a question it actually stays in the newsgroup and does not go
anywhere. There are times you wish ot would go away but Google will bring it
back even years after it was posted. There are some posts of mine on Google
that I wish I haven't made.
Point is, there is no reason to repost the question in 2.5 hrs - someone
will answer the first one. In fact, I did

Sorry,

I just thought that I hadn't included enough information to be clear, I
found that in most cases answering an answer is nowhere as successful as
posting an original post. I was not trying to abuse the newsgroup or upset
anyone, so i will not do this again... I will review my posts a little more
carefully before posting them in the first place. Thank you for your help
and I appreciate the correction.
