Checkbox and scale

I have a checkbox which displays a tick fine when zoom is at 100%.

When I resize the zoom to 75% the checkbox is scaled accordingly.

Is there any way of changing the zoom but retain the scale of th
checkbox?

If you use a check box from the Control Toolbox, you can make the font a
larger size, and so it will be easier to read at 75% zoom. However, the
size of the check box can't be changed.
 
I do not recommend using tools from the Controls Toolbox if it can b
avoided - especially if you have several. They are extremely buggy, i
not immediately, they can bring problems later on
