Check names should allow firstname lastname completion In Outlook

Hey, I just got a new PC with Outlook 2003 and am very frustrated that the
check names feature won't complete "firstname lastname" from my companies
global address book. This feature worked fine in outlook XP/2002, so why did
it get removed for Outlook 2003?!? It will complete a "lastname, firstname",
but that is a pain (outlook 2002 could recognize both by looking for the
comma to know what format was being specified). So any clue on if I can
configure things to work as firstname lastname for the check names feature?

It will work if you don't used cached mode.

Do you mean turning off the autocomplete function? I tried this without any
luck. Maybe it is because our company's global address book is listed by
default as lastname, firstname, but Outlook 2002 seemed to be able to
complete to this format regardless of whether "firstname lastname" or
"lastname, firstname" was listed. Any other suggestions to get it to behave
like this?

No. I'm talking about running Outlook 2003 against Exchange Server in cached
mode.
