Check Disc will not tun

When I run check disk (automatically fix file system errors) It does the
usual won't run until restart routine. But when I do restart the check disk
program won't run. I just a blank screen for a few seconds a and a really
slow start up.

Can anyone help?
 
On FAT/FAT32: Displays the full path and name of every file on the disk.Blank Screen may be normal on NTFS system.
Run chkdsk /f
agian and then reboot.

To see if chkdsk runs.
Control Pannel-Computer Management
Under event viewer.
Either Application or system. (Forgot which one)
Double click on the Infomation Icon(it will be one of those). Then
it will give you details if it ran ok or fixed anything.
