Check Book Register Control?

Hi All,

I want to put a checkbook type register on a form. Is there an
existing ActiveX control to do this?

If not, my best plan B would be to develop a sub-form with various text
boxes I can hook to the appropriate data fields. Any better ideas?

I would prefer the subform method. I try very hard to avoid using ActiveX
controls.
