There is a fine line between posting useful information
links and spamming to promote a blog. In this case, since
you'd already posted about a prior article (or was it same
article) the line was crossed, this is an inappropriate use
of usenet.

I suggest you submit your blog to Google et al. to get the
hits you're looking for, and at the same time, you'll reach
a much broader audience than through usenet... and without
any risk of causing complaints that might cause the blog to
have to move, breaking existing links.

It's not that I'm complaining about posting in general, a
useful article that covers "new" ground might be seen as
beneficial news to some people, but this seems more like a
redundant promotion.
