Without wanting to sounds like a complete dumbass, but which way should a chassis fan blow?

Should it dispell air away from the mobo as theres no ventilation, or

Should it blow air into the case?

All Chassis fans should expel air from the PC make sure you have adequate side/top air intakes.

If it's at the front, blowing air in and if it's at the back, exhausting (blowing air out).

Similarly, side fans usually blow air in and roof fans will exhaust.

However, these rules ain't set in stone, just do whatever works best for you.

On a side note most CPU fans work best blowing air downwards but some coolers actually worked better with fans sucking air away from the CPU.

Trial and error works here :)
