Chasing my tail !

I have been trying for several days to fix a dbase that was not broken when I
started.
This all began when I was trying to determine why users of my database had
to log thier machines off then back onto the network when using my access
database.
Specifically, they could open the database on my computer from thier
computers via our network but if they closed the dbase (and access) they
could not get back into it without logging off of thier machines and then
back on.
in the process of trying to fix this, I have gotten all tangled up in the
access "security' web. I currently am able to open a ".bak" copy of the
database on my local machine but get a read-only warning on all of the other
users computers(still have to logout/in after each session).
Is there a way to resurrect this dbase and reset the security to "ZERO"
without recreating the database from scratch ?

The most painless approach would be to create a blank
database and inport all the objects from the original
into it.
