Chart Report

Do chart reports HAVE to be based on a crosstab query? My database tracks
report dates for various stages of progress, and I have a vba routine that
calculates the number of reports at each stage. The routine populates a temp
table with a field for the number of reports at that particular stage and a
total field. I use the temp table as the source for a report which shows the
figures both as numbers and as percentages. However, I can't seem to get
this data into a pie chart.

TIA,

Susan

You can change the Row Source of the chart control to whatever you want.

I am using Access 97 report - chart type. After the creation thru wizards,
the report preview sometimes show the normal chart and sometimes show the 4
quarter - East, West and North chart which I have no idea where it comes
from. On the design view, it always show the 4 quarter charts instead of my
normal chart. It is strange. Please help. Thanks.
