If you have an Excel chart and you hide the rows and/or colums which contain
the data, the chart disappears until you unhide the rows/columns. (Well, the
chart object remains, but the chart area becomes blank)

Versions: Excel 2000, XP, 2003
reproducible: Always

Steps to reproduce:
1) Enter a few numbers in column A.
2) Select the data and run the chart wizard. You can accept all default
settings.
3) After the chart appears, right-click column A and hide the column.
4) Notice that the chart becomes blank.

The same thing occurs if you use the "Group and Outline" feature on the Data
menu to show/hide the data.
