Charecter limit when exporting to Excel?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I am exporting a table from Access to Excel by simply using the export
function.
(first, is this the right way to do it if I want the whole table exported?)

It looks like it's working fine, but when I take a closer look at the cells
that contain a lot of text, I've noticed that the longer pieces are getting
cut off.

Is this a limitation of Excel? Any solutions?

Thanks

"The export function" covers several possibilities, including different
versions of Excel file.

For best results, use the File|Export menu command (or right-click on
the table and select Export). In the resulting dialog, select "Microsoft
Excel 97-2003" in the Save As type dropdown. Leave the "Save Formatted"
box unchecked.
