Charecter limit in BCC and CC fields??

Is there a hard charecter limit for the BCC and CC fields?
Or is the limit based on system resources. I have a user
that needs to BCC several hundred users from a global
address book into a single e-mail. And he wants to know if
he can be sure all of them are actually being sent.

You probabaly hit the limit set by your ISP (to prevent spam) long before
you hit the one in Outlook. Check with your ISP for possibilities. You can
also do a mail merge from within Word to send your lots of mails.

Thanks for the info, i also came up with just having the
user create a personal distribution list with all the
names necessary. I'll have him try that first. Much
appreciated.

That won't make a difference. Personal DLs are expanded when the message is sent.
