Do you mean ".wav" to ".wma"? If so, then Windows Media
Player should be able to do so. Just open the file and go
to the "file" menu and select "Save Media As...". Type in
the name of the file with the ".wma" extension in
the "name" bar.
thanks mate that does work (sorry, i did mean wav to wma!). but i was hoping to be able to do the conversion so that i could save some disk space on my computer. doing what you said produces a file of the same size. is there any way of doing the conversion which reduces the memory used?
