Chaning partion sizes.in Windows 2000

I have a used computer I running Windows 2000
professional (I upgraded from Windows NT when I got it).
The HDD is partitioned into C: - 2GB and D: - 17GB. I need
more space on my C:. How do I take some space from D: and
add it to C: without losing anything on either drive ?
