When i change a user account from administrator to user, after loging into
that account a box appears with "fAIL". If i switch the account back to
administrator this fAIL box does not appear. Any suggestions or help would be
great! Thanks

And what does the "fail" refer to?

What does that account run at login? Not all software is able to run with
limited accounts, and you're going to have to do a little work to figure out
what is referred to.

Not sure - it's a small box that appears right after login. It runs the same as all the others (3 users 1 guest) No changes are made other then the account setting of admin or user. I have had this set up before(just did a format and reinstall) and never done this. When i change the setting back to admin. this does not appear.???

So, what doesn't work? This message probably means that some bit of
software wants Admin rights, but isn't well-written enough to even identify
itself.

Look in msconfig, startup, to see what is loading. Then check Task Manager
and the Event Log to see what isn't loaded.

After a bit of trial and error the end result was a card reader that i had
installed. I disabled it in the start up and all is well. Thanks for the help
