Changing the XPe shell outside of Target Designer

Hi,

I would like to do the following,

1) Create an XPe image using TD with the standard WinLogon facilities.
2) Following FBA and with XPe image fully operative I would like to
setup and configure items (e.g. IP addresses etc.) At this stage my
customer
may want to chop and change things.
3) Once the system is exactly configured to his likings we would like
to change the shell from the WinLogon style to a custom application
based shell.
4) Finally (using EWF) we would like to 'seal' this system to be delivered
to an end user.

I know that the correct way of doing this is to build components and use
TD but because we are not entirely sure of the requirements we would like
to produce the system in the way described above,

I do not know how to change the shell on XPe to accomplish item 3) above

Can anyone help?

Change the follwing reg string value at run time: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon],"Shell".
