Changing the source of a link

I have a big worksheet (target) which links to different sources (say file
names A, B, C etc). However the addresses in each source linked to the target
are the same.

I can format the whole target by pasting the source A (say) onto the target
serveral times. Thereafter, need only to change the source link to B, C, D etc

At the moment I can only do it cell by cell, which is extremely tedious. Is
there a quick way to do this change of source names?

Thanks.

1.. Open the workbook that contains the link.
2.. On the Edit menu, click Links.
3.. In the Source box, click the name of the link whose source you would
like to change.
4.. Click Change Source.
5.. In the Change Source dialog box, click the source workbook you want to
refer to.

I have tried your method before I asked my question. Unfortunately it won't
work.

Your suggested method would change the link of the WHOLE worksheet (target)
and hence becomes a SINGLE source, which is not what I want. The different
sources of link must be retained in the taget.

Thanks anyway.
