Changing the Resources of a PCI Plug & Play Card

Hello

The resource settings for my PCI card are in the device manager read
only, because Windows controls it (Plug & Play Card). Exists there is
there way to change the plug & play settings for such a card?

More background information:
I have a PCI Card which is an additional paralell port. It is a plug &
play card and works so far fine. Unfortunately lots of software do only
recoginze the LPT by using the standard adress 378, 2F8 etc. My LPT
port is on another base address 0xDF00. Because it is a plug & play
card I am not able to change the settigns in the device manager.

many thanks in advance

best regards
Mark

NT-based Windows assigns LPT port names starting with 1.
No program should have problem with this.
If your DOS programs can not work with this port, probably there
is some other problem. Does this port work in Windows, for example
can you attach a printer and print to it?
