Changing the default right alignment settings of page numbers

I would like to change the default alignment setting of "right alignment" to
"center alignment" when inserting page numbers into word. So that the next
time I would like to insert a page number I would not have to alway's select
center.

There's no way to change the default for Insert | Page Numbers. But you can
create a template in which the page numbers are already inserted in the
desired location; see

Thank You Suzanne. Thought that this might be the case but just wanted to
verify. Thanks also for the link. I have read the article, down loaded the
zip file and will continue to work on making myself a template. Thanks-
again.
