Open a form in Design view
Change the default settings for a type of control
In the toolbox , click the tool for the type of control that you want to
change. For example, if you want to change the default control style for
text boxes, click the Text Box tool .
Display the property sheet by clicking Properties on the Form Design or
Report Design toolbar.
Microsoft Access changes the title bar of the property sheet to indicate
that you've opened the default property sheet for that type of control.
In the property sheet, change the property settings.
If you want the new settings to apply to all new controls, make the current
form or report a template.
Sorry, I knew this: I've done this in Access.
....I forgot I'm working in Outlook (smile!) vba, on a userform. ...it
doesn't seem to be the same in Outlook. I can't quite figure it out....
You're right, it's very different in any other Office app than it is in
Access. Unless you REALLY try hard, Access pretty much won't do UserForms,
whereas they're the default (only?) type of form for all other Office
applications.
The good news is that if you can figure out how to do it on a UserForm in
one app, you'll know how to do it in any of the others. And sorry, I don't
know how, or if it's even possible, otherwise I'd share. Because of the
differences, your best bet is to ask in an Outlook group.
