Changing System/Boot drive from G: to C:

After 12 hours of messing about trying to get things set up (XP stop errored
after updating & wouldn't startup to desktop). I finally installed XP home on
mirrored RAID drives. Problem is that my system/boot drive/s is G: not C:.

How do I change it to C? (Without starting all over again!)

I have 2x Seagate ST380013AS, 80G SATA HDDs set up in RAID1 (mirrored) using
Nvidia RAID on a Gigabyte K8NS Pro motherboard using XP Home (vanilla CD
install). I have only installed the minimum of device drivers (motherboard
specific drivers & wireless network card).I can't install video card drivers
because they are looking for C: drive to unpack to.

I have read the support docs for changing drive letters but can't find "6.
On the Security menu, click Permissions" and regedit won't save the changes
(it looks like regedit & regedt32 are exactly the same).
