Changing SP2 installation source drive to allow installation of II

Trying to setup remote desktop by installing IIS and WWW services. I have
WinXP SP2 installed. I have had several drive replacements on this system and
when I go to install the additional files, it keeps erroring out not wanting
to see the necessary files on (my now DVD-R) D:\ install of what I believe
was apparently the installation I:\ drive.

Is there an easy fix for this so that I can install the soiftware?

Thanks,

Depending on how many drives you have installed,& if other drives had D:
or I: etc,try going to run,type:regedit,in regedit,expand:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/
software/microsoft/windows/set-up,expand sourcepath.Make sure the cdrom
& other cd listed are the same as it is in my computer (as to the hardware
with
the XP cd in it),if not,L.click on one,go to edit, modify, either change the
letter,or
add letter so it matches,do for both, close out regedit...
